The missing link between these two worlds — the travel experiences and the spaces that hold them — is me, my likes, passions and values.
I’m Ana SS, a polymath and eternal traveler who has spent three decades living in the wild corners of the world. For decades, I’ve hosted retreats, curated events, and looked after guests in all forms: creating yoga retreat centers in the highlands of Guatemala, hosting weddings with thousands of candles in ancient ruins, serving farm-to-table feasts from scratch in my remote restaurant, or sharing the awe of diving with a whale shark in Borneo. My life has been a patchwork of roles: furniture designer and jungle builder, diving teacher, economist, antiques and textile hunter, kirtan host in the rainforest and breathwork leader in a catamaran off remote indigenous islands. I’ve built and furnished wild, lush homes and created jungly edible gardens, and every year, I’ve led at least three unforgettable adventures. Over time, I’ve honed my craft — growing more precise, more intentional — and now I can afford to choose only those destinations, clients, and co-travelers who feel the same call and can understand my vision.
